We have been making Coracles since 2006. In Spring we teach Coracle-making at Gorfanc. You could combine a stay in the Hideaway, or camping, with making your own little full-sized traditional and beautiful boat to take home!
The word Coracle is derived from the Welsh – “Cwrwgl”.
Following the most recent three fabulous Coracle-making weekends held in 2026 we now have dates for 2027!
Saturday 3rd – Sunday 4th April
Saturday 17th – Sunday 18th April
Saturday 1st – Sunday 2nd May
Until 15th January the Early Bird price of £390.
This covers one or two people making one Coracle, and includes all tuition and materials, refreshments and lunch, – and paddling practice!
After 15th January the price is £420.
The Hideaway may be available, or you can camp (and have a campfire) in a beautiful quiet location in the blossomy fields, or stay in local B and Bs or at the village pub just down the lane –
