A peaceful eco-friendly hideaway in the beautiful hills of Mid-Wales.
Self-catering accommodation for 2+2, camping, and dog-friendly.

If you are seeking peace and quiet in the midst of the countryside then you will find it here in the Hideaway at Gorfanc.

In a fold of the ancient Cambrian Mountains, within a mile and a half of the village of Carno in Powys,  Gorfanc is an 11 acre smallholding.

The Hideaway is ideal for two, and will accommodate four. The land surrounding Gorfanc is wonderful for wild camping, perhaps for additional friends and family.

It also offers perfect seclusion for writers and artists and is an ideal meditation retreat.

Dogs with their own beds, and towels for muddy feet, are welcome (but not in the bedroom).  There are a lot of sheep – and a few hens – about so your dog will need to be on a lead.

You will have the opportunity to buy honey from the Gorfanc bees, free range eggs from the Gorfanc hens, home-made jam, and delicious made-to-order organic wholemeal bread. There may be organically grown produce from the garden.

Therapeutic Massage is available.

Please note that we ask people not to smoke indoors at the Hideaway
