Outside the Hideaway

On a fine day use the garden chairs provided and enjoy a cup of tea – or a glass of wine – on the balcony. There are binoculars to borrow for watching Buzzards high in the sky, the swooping Swallows, and the occasional Red Kite.

The Afon Cerniog

Across the field is the Cerniog valley, through which the little river ripples and flows – a great place to play or to sit and dream.

There are numerous picnicking possibilities within a stone’s throw or two, and places to have a campfire on summer evenings – toasting marshmallows, making music, or just listening to the stream and the sounds of the dusk.

Winter
A winter break in the Hideaway could be just what you need. The countryside is just as beautiful and even quieter, the Hideaway is even cosier, and the shorter daylight hours give you more time to enjoy the splendid PARP woodburner.
